Post Box Game currently retails at £9.50 (2013) which I personally think is good value for money for a game offering a lot of play opportunities, to both boys and girls. Stylish postbox Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 February 2022 Verified Purchase I really like this stylish, modern letterbox. It’s an Orchard Toys game so as you’d expect it’s a good, quality product with bright, charming graphics. It really is more than just a game, and it’s lots of FUN □ Can you imagine what will be posted through the letterboxes when it’s coming up to my son’s birthday and Christmas? For example, I can see the postboxes being added to railway play and the envelopes going off on the train to be delivered by Postman Teddy. What I really like about the game is that you can use it out of context in a wider imaginary play scenario. Each coloured envelope has an animal on it so this can be a game in itself, and as my son learns to read he will be able to tell me who the envelope is for and where they live. It helps with recognising colours and hand-eye coordination when you post the envelopes. I can see this game keeping his interest for some time ahead, he can play it by himself or with friends and family. There are a number of different play options depending on the number of players, although, as always my son made up his own rules □ He was having lots of fun as soon as he opened the box. The postboxes were easy to assemble and Monkey got straight down to posting the coloured envelopes into the correct coloured postbox. The Post Box Game is a newly launched game for 1-4 players, aged 2 years+, which works perfectly for my son who is just over 3 years. My son loved the look of this straight away as we are always posting letters to Granny in Spain. We were very excited to open our latest box from Orchard Toys for review. ![]() ![]() My current impression about PB: ambitious and succeeded in some ways, but stalled.Disclosure: we were sent the item mentioned for the purpose of review The other is MoreLayouts which mentions a MultiRow prototype in the (very old looking) screenshot I installed it but couldn't find any option for it. There's an addon providing conversation view but I'm currently on TB 17 which isn't supported. Postbox largely focuses on receiving email and presenting it in a straightforward manner. Also I'm using Sieve for TB, but there doesn't seem to be any effort for PB. Postbox looks mild-mannered, but there’s a Supermail waiting to break out as you need it. The Traveler is nearly perfect at what it does, with a 30-hour battery life (or what the company assumes will be about four weeks of regular writing). ![]() None of the dictionaries work their page redirects to the official ones from TB but they can't be installed. The ageing shows in their Enigmail add-on 1.2 compared to 1.5. Seems to be based on TB 3 sources, TB add-ons don't work with adaption (likely just the version strings, but still). I dug a bit around, although PBs look is refreshing, under the hood it already seems outdated. No proper email contact for questions (just store and such). ![]() I'm currently testing Postbox and of course it's not perfect and I'm eager to get into a conversation with. So I found out about Postbox (PB) recently it excels Thunderbird in a few things which annoy me since years (I've been using Mozillas mail client when it was only part of the Navigator suite) two mention my most important ones:
